Privacy & Client Notices

Clear information about privacy, communication, and your rights.

This page explains how to contact Allison safely and provides important information for prospective and current clients.

Website and electronic communication

This website does not collect information through a contact form. If you choose to email or text, please share only the basic information needed to begin a conversation and avoid sending sensitive clinical details.

Email and standard text messages may not be encrypted. Using this website or sending a message does not establish a therapist-client relationship. That relationship begins only after the appropriate intake and consent process is completed.

Notice of Privacy Practices

Clients receive Allison's formal Notice of Privacy Practices during the intake process. It explains how protected health information may be used or disclosed, your privacy rights, and how to ask questions or make a complaint.

You may request a current copy before scheduling by emailing Allison. This website summary does not replace the formal Notice of Privacy Practices provided to clients.

Your right to a Good Faith Estimate

If you do not have insurance or do not plan to use insurance for your care, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of scheduled services.

You may ask for an estimate before scheduling. When services are scheduled far enough in advance, the estimate will be provided within the time required by federal law. If a final bill is at least $400 more than the estimate, you may have the right to dispute the bill.

For questions or to request a Good Faith Estimate, contact Allison at 972-591-3376 or AllisonVenegasLCSW@gmail.com.

Emergency support

This website, email, and text number are not monitored for emergencies. Call or text 988 for immediate emotional support. Call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room if there is immediate danger.
